NASHVILLE–Living Waters for the World ― a ministry of the Synod of Living Waters ― has released its Living Waters Christmas E-card. During this important season of giving, this e-card provides an easy way to honor family members and friends all while helping to provide clean water to those in need.
The Living Waters E-card, personalized by the gift-giver, uses a colorful slideshow to illustrate the tremendous impact clean water has on the lives of those touched by Living Waters for the World.
Believing God intends for all people to have clean water, Living Waters for the World fosters enduring relationships by empowering churches, schools, health clinics and orphanages to provide clean sustainable water for their communities.
The organization accomplishes this by training mission teams to form partnerships with community institutions. These partnerships provide clean water systems and health related educational materials to local communities. Partners are trained to implement, operate, and maintain water systems and to lead ongoing community health education, ensuring long-term sustainable results.
Designed for any amount of donation, the e-card sender can honor or memorialize a family member or friend. Accompanied by one of five Christmas music options, the card may be customized further by including a personal photo.
Launched last week, the e-card is being well received. Notes Living Waters for the World development director Steve Young: “We have heard from those who have received the e-card and they have been deeply touched by being honored in this way.”
