Emily Dunbar leaves the Synod of Living Waters

by Janet Tuck

NASHVILLE–The Synod of Living Waters bids a fond farewell to Program Director Emily Dunbar after nine years of service. Emily is well known for her meticulous efficiency and ability to handle many tasks with grace and professionalism.

Emily Dunbar

Commenting on Emily’s time at the synod, Executive Terry Newland commented, “Emily is one of the best witnesses of servant leadership I have been blessed to know. She has been an extremely effective leader in the synod as she has gone about doing everything in her power to give individuals and structures the best possible chance to thrive. She has taught us well and I pray we have been good students.”

She leaves the synod to become the Chapter and Electronic Communications Coordinator for the Tennessee Society of CPAs.

In addition to her administrative tasks for the synod, Emily also served as office administrator and Clean Water U registrar for Living Waters for the World.  She will be greatly missed and all at the Synod of Living Waters wish her well in her new adventures.
